I adored Nancy! I have a picture of her (autographed) sitting in a prominent place in my home. It's only fitting that her name comes up often in conversations with Ponca Playhouse folks. I don't know how many times I've said to newcomers, "I'm sorry you never got to know Nancy." She was Solid Gold and I miss her very much. I remember when she called me over to her apartment to tell me about her diagnosis. I sat down on the floor in front of her chair and put my head in her lap and sobbed . . . she, of course, comforted me. That's Nancy.
